Tanner and the 6th grade basketball team won 1st place in the Pawnee Tourney and the Divernon Jamboree!!! The first time in Franklin history that a team has won both Tourneys in the same year. The were undefeated in the season. The team went out for pizza after one of the games and boy were they acting goofy!!!
Tanner received his first letter this year for the 7th grade season.

Nick was sooooo excited when he got his new bowling ball for Christmas!

Nick started on a bowling league last Nov. and has bowled every Saturday this winter. He has been in several tournements and has done very well. He really enjoys it.

Ok, sorry it's late, I just got my pictures developed from my new camera that I got before christmas. I will try to update you on the winter activities.

Nick finished his basketball season at the YMCA on Friday. He had a game every Friday since the beginning of Dec. except 2 weeks off for christmas. He was a real pistol on the court being the high scorer in most of the games. They ended with a record of 5-1 and tied in 2 games.

Well, Tanner and the Franklin Firebirds ended their season 18-4 after losing by only 3 pts to Our Saviors in the regional championship game. It was a very exciting season and for being only being in 6th grade playing against 7th graders, they all did outstanding. Just wait, the next couple of years will be their time to shine!!
