I am proud to announce that Tanner and the 7th grade boys basketball team from Franklin won the 7A state championship game by the score of 47-39 against Pana Sacred Heart!!!! This is the 1st time in Franklin School history that a team has ever won State!!!

These boys have worked hard together for 6 years to accomplish this. What excitment for the team, families, and the whole community to watch. Hopefully they will continue this fete for years to come.

The 1st thing I want all of you to know is that in Jan. Nick won the Geography bee for Alexander Elem. School!!! He had to take a written test to qualify for the next step which is Chicago!!!! We should know the results by the end of March. Good luck Nick and way to go!!!!!!

Ok, I'm back!!! Sorry it's been so long since I updated my blog. As most of you know, I have had alot going on in the past year. Hopefully everything is getting back to normal. I hope to update the blog often and let you know everything going on with the boys and family.
