Tanner goes to the hospital

Yesterday I had to take Tanner to the hospital. He was at a friends house Fri. nite and started chillin and throwing up all of a sudden. I was at work so he went to mom's for the evening. When I picked him up he had a fever of 103.8. He threw up there and in Pisgah on the way home. He woke up at 4am with stabbing pain in his rt lower rib area so I took him to the hospital. I was worried he had appendicitis but it turned out to be pneumonia!! He got IV fluids cause he was very dehydrated, IV antibiotics, blood work and chest xray. He was really sick!!! Well thanks to the wonders of antibiotics, he is doing great today and wants to go shopping in Springfield!! I don't think that's going to happen, but I am glad he is feeling better.

Nick playing basketball

Here are some pics of Nick playing basketball this year. He is in 6th grade but played and lettered on the 7th grade team. He did very well and improved alot throughout the season. He scored a few 3 pointers including one important one in the Regional game. He will be fun to watch as he grows in the years to come.

Tanner playing basketball

This is Tanner and his team in their 8th grade Regional game. The Franklin Flashes were Regional Champs and Sectional runners up. They lost to an E. St. Louis team by 1 pt in overtime!!! That team went on to win Class 1A State Championship. We ended with a record of 21-3, with 2 losses to Winchester who went on to win Class 2A State Championship!! So without any argument, the 8th grade Flashes did awesome once again!!! It will be the team to watch in highschool. P.S. The above pic is Tanner jumping the ball.

Tanner shaving!!!

Tanner is shaving for the 1st time. Isn't he growing up fast???
